Artist's Comments

original: [link]

I said in the original deviation that I removed the color cast from the reciprocity failure of the film; I lied!

Not sure what version I like better though... the green one has, as played out as it is, a future matrix-y feel(which I'm not a huge fan of, but given the subject I think it kinda works)

i think this one feels better on my eyes. its less flooded with green light and a more serious feel to it. i just looked at it both photos, on both the monitor and the tft. this one looks better defined as well ..

nice area btw .. ;) loved shinjuku .. 20mm works great there ;)

I love the sharpness of the shadow between the panels, and around the windows of the buildings. It looks like a 3D render :P

I like the colours on the sculpture in the first one, but the buildings look much nicer in this.

yaaa i agree; maybe if i hadn't adjusted the sculpture woulda retained some of the punch of the original...

might fool around w/it some more - thanks

i don`t know why, but I like this one :)

i like them both :-) i wouldnt mind seeing a side by side with one of them flipped horizontally. i think it would look cool.

CREEPING THOUGHTS
:iconqwikdrah:
This one is a bit more balanced. Also, not only do the colors seem richer, but compositionally, the orange lights contrasting with the deep blues adds more interest. The shadows also seem to recede a bit more. Both are nice, but this one rocks. Nice work. :+fav:

well the reedited looks more smooth and a bit better
kudos
